Dharan Municipality is operating different community based activities
for overall development of different communities living within
the city area. It is running mother-child healthcare clinics,
informal education for children from poor households, self-employment
education for youths, and skill-based and income-oriented trainings
for women.
Likewise the Municipality is establishing and running child-development
centers, running schools; launching awareness campaigns on sanitation,
health and personal hygiene; and constructing economy latrines.
